ABOUT ME

Hi,

my name is Josep and I was first licensed in July 1992 as EA6ACC, but changed my callsign in February 2003 to my actual EA6BF call.

​

I was born in Ibiza Island and have always lived here, even I have travelled the world, I find this place the best for living.

​

I am interested in CW only, but have been also active in RTTY in the past, where I have achieved DXCC low power in that mode.

​

I work all bands, but in my late years, and for many years.! I was very dedicated to 160m. I have worked 239 countries there, all US states and 40 zones. My antenna for this band was a 27m Toploaded homemade vertical, but now is down due to strong winds and age, and the past April. 2022, it fell down.

Put a 1/4λ Inverted L the past Feb. 3, 2023 so at least now I have an antenna for topband.! Not pretending long DX with this antenna, but EU at least.

K9AY RX antennas have been removed and have installed in the same place my Full size Delta Loop for 30m.
